The photos in this series revolve around the idea of gathering. Some were shown as part of the “Gathering” exhibition in Kyoto, and “Bleu-Blanc-Rouge” in Osaka, and were shot at citizen protests held in Paris and Hong Kong. The last two shots in this series were taken during the festive Chinese New Year in Manila. For each of the photos, my approach was neither journalistic nor militant: I was looking for a little humanism and poetry in the "chaos" of the moment.
